title:{KBOX + XMAS + BUS TRIP}
okay i have to admit that i'm very lazy to update my blog lately. just look at this post for example, i've been meaning to post it since tuesday and i only manage to post it the next year. well, literally. its already the 1st jan '09 but i have to post another one to officially mark my end of 2008.
anyway, my last week of 2008 had been A-W-E-S-O-M-E! on the 28th, the 8 of us (including mr tsui!!) went to marina square kbox to.. karoake like duh! hahaha it was damn cool and extremely funny especially when lisa, kailin and tp sang this chinese song (dont expect me to know the title, hahah!) and also the part where kailin and mr tsui sang rihanna's please dont stop the music.. and that was also the day when they all knew that i could actually sing a chinese song (well not really. i just somehow memorised the lyrics for the chorus). hahaha it was super fun! and thanks a gazillion mr tsui for treating us!!! that was sooo nice of him! :)

after the kbox thingy, me, lisa, jx, tp, kx and alphie went over to maryam's crib for our christmas gathering. have i ever mentioned that i love her place? it is super huge and super beautiful and i felt like i was in some villa.. haha damn nice! maryam and her super cute sister helped to set up their xbox (xbox after kbox hahaha how cool is that?) and we played Super Band (i think thats what the game is called..)!! there was a drummer, 2 guitar players and a singer. haha after the whole tour around london, amsterdam and paris, we managed to gain 979 fans (after losing a few thousands) and got 59 stars! hahaha we played music for the entire day (literally), exchange gifts, and had a sumptious dinner at her place. and also thanks a gazillion maryam for inviting us over! :)

and finally, we had our long planned aimless bus ride last tuesday. although its super pathetic (just me, gil, zarifah and tp) it was rather fun! before the trip, i somehow got this feeling that we will end up in boon lay, which we did. hahaha met at dhoby, took bus 16 to bukit merah (where kailin saw us in the bus!! hahaha!), and continued in bus 198 to boon lay. hang out and chilled at jurong point (my second trip there in my whole entire 18 years of my life) until around 8 plus till we decide to head home via mrt (i was sooo reluctant to take the train). hahaha it was a very nice experience. oh well... goodbye student fare!!! :'(

^^mrt trip back home..yeah it was fun! haha.. and i have to apologise to my sister because she don't want this thing to be blogged but i dont care (more like i cant resist)! moreover she cursed me on the second hour of 2009... haha ya anyway, right now, she is on a date with a guy, who, well.. she is on a date with a guy who she had been UMing all these while.. oh she is damn freaking lucky! :)

okay first thing's first..
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!
a little late come to think of it. anyway, my friends have been bugging me to update my dying blog and here it is!! yeah i have to admit i've been neglecting it for ages. and apologies for the little gray post below. it was posted at about 2am last night. gosh i was pissed. okay whatever! its time for a proper post! ----
went to RP about a week ago with rizal to watch a small concert by the MI band and angklung & kulintang ensemble. it was quite alright. the first performance didnt appeal to me that much but other than that, it was not bad actually (although i heard someone from the woodwind section accidentally squeek during one of the songs). i personally like the Decade song (i think thats what the title was) performed by the band and the Crimson Sun by the AKE.

when i reached home last night..
jaja: how was your trip around singapore?
me: (sighs) we ended up watching a movie. a really bad one.
jaja: what story?
me: (sighs again) the day the earth stood still
jaja: (gave me the shocked look) you watched that?? my friends just told me not to watch the story! throughout the whole movie, keanu reeves only had one expression ---> (-.-)
me: (in a monotonous tone) you should have told me earlier.. (sighs some more)
yeah. thats what happened. and i was so looking forward for the bus trip. 3 voted for movie, 2 for 'anything will do', and another 2 for bus trip. i was the latter. i was dragged along to watch the movie because SOMEONE claimed that the story is good. .................. there goes my $6.50 and there goes my 3 hours. sad huh.
oh well. our aimless bus ride became an aimless walk. jacq, kailin and lisa couldnt join us so there were only the three members of the BOS feat kx. walked around dhoby, buy some snacks along the way, went to bras basah complex, then to national library where i get to borrow a couple of books, and finally bugis junction. it was quite alright for a mini class outing actually. i enjoyed my day! :)

me: hahahaha nonsense! (thinking of lee hwa jewelry) well at least its famous. and kx name is very common too. there's 2 kai xiangs in our school.

title:{BACK}
the mini holiday was fun! the place was quite big. spend alot of time joking around, watching tv and... eating twisties (haha me and my cousin dinah planned on making a Twisties fanclub on facebook). went bowling also but yeah as expected my scores were horrendous.
i finished reading Twilight a couple of days ago and i think the story is good. i like stories based on fantasy and this book has the spice of romance and a hint of action as well so i think its very enjoyable. i love the plot. im looking forward into reading the sequel. :)
and yay!!! aimless bus ride trip tomorrow!!! woohoo cant wait!!!

title:{BOREDOM}
this week just passed by so slowly! oh man i really need something to do.. (get a job! duh!)
>> celebrated my hari raya at malaysia. kinda cool cz i hardly celebrate hari raya haji at kampung. good to see all my cousins after all this while. the only thing is that i didnt manage to meet most of my cousins on my mother's side. oh i miss them..
>> been having super weird dreams lately. a couple of nights ago i dreamt that i was taking my MALAY exams! to make the story short, i didnt hand up my paper, somehow i managed to smuggle it out of the exam hall, went to the PE toilet and met gil and maryam, talked abt how the paper was, they knew that i didnt hand it up, maryam marking my 'imbuhan' section, i got some of the answers wrong, went to the canteen and found out that all the teachers were looking for me (my paper actually), changed my answers, erased maryam's markings, ms zeenat was suspicious of me, handed up my edited paper to a teacher i never met before, the teacher told me to check my phone cz many teachers are trying to contact me, went to the locker to get my phone, saw 16 miss calls and an sms from mr tsui saying that i am in BIG TROUBLE (yes, its in caps).
i can dare say that it was a nightmare because,
1) i HATE dreaming about exams
2) i ALWAYS hand up my exam scripts
3) i NEVER CHEAT during exams
4) retaking my MALAY paper is NOT an option! besides, its ridiculous cz i've already gotten my results ages ago...
>> i cant wait to go for a mini holiday tomorrow! well.. cant resist saying MINI since its just a 2 day 1 night stay in a villa at johor. it will be nice since my cousins are all going. :)

title:{PAIN}
finally went running with zarifah and lisa earlier today. been months since i jogged. muscle cramps here and there but overall, it feels good. we made fridays a MUST JOG day. friday, around 5pm, serangoon stadium. feel free to join. :)
and a shout-out to my secondary school mates: mustaffa asked me to help him pass around the message that he is planning to have a birthday chalet in december. the date is not yet confirmed but make yourself free around 14th, 15th or 16th dec. he said that it may be a 2 day 1 night chalet, venue should be at costa sands (dwntwn east/pasir ris). details will be provided later.
and thanks to my sister, i became a new fan of JJ Lin. i love his voice and his songs of course. never knew that singaporeans do have talents. dont know why our "import expenditure" is so high considering that our "import substitutes" are far greater than the "imports" themselves. right? and dont ask me why i am speaking in econs terms. ;)

title:{CHALET - MEMOIRS OF 2A02}
the class chalet which was held at downtown east costa sands was well.. special. only about half the class came for the chalet and as expected, about 6-7 of us stayed overnight. the permanent members were me, gil, lisa, jacq, alphie, tp, jx and kx.

i came slightly late. reached around 5 plus. managed to take a photo before evan, tingxin and ernest left. heard that they watched Sweeney Todd before i came. oh well.. haha we played taboo which i can dare say to be one of the funniest moments in the chalet. jacq paired up with kx, tp with alphonso, and gillian with me. we used some of our trickeries to score some points! haha waited for jingxin and lisa before we headed for dinner. we ended up having dinner at the foodcourt and bleargh i dont think we are going there again. since lisa and jx couldnt find the bike rental shop, we decided to just head back and hang out in the chalet. we watched Drumline and when the show ended at about 11 plus pm, someone (i think alphie) suggested that we watch horror story - The Amityville Horror. at the begining of the show, someone came knocking at the door. hahaha our 'neighbours' actually complained that we were too noisy. we were given a warning. ignoring that incident, we continued watchng the show, which lulls me to sleep... literally. it was so boring, not even a slightest bit scary! so we switched it off, and decided to do the one thing best - sleep.

second day was quite alright. we started off the day with CHARLIE THE UNICORN!!! hahaha it was hilarious! maryam and zarifah came over at around noon and we head off for lunch at ergh McDonalds. the 9 of us then went to Escape (which cost us just $4.90!!!) but i was quite disappointed cz my favourite ride wasnt operated which leaves the viking to be the best ride out of all. the food came earlier than we expected (ggrrrr!!). we rented bikes for night cycling and started bbq-ing at around 6 plus. the food turned out to be quite odd cz the chicken started to turn out wrong. hahaha thats where zarifah and alphie helped us de-blacken the chicken. (haha lucky there was no halal and non-halal tongs....) we started to laze around, watched some youtube videos from jx's mac and watch more CHARLIIEEEEE!! at about midnight, there was abit of a tragedy when we were about to start our night cycling. its quite unfortunate cz lisa couldnt find her key to her bike so she couldnt join us for night cycling. so there was only me, tp, kx, jacq and alphie. we cycled pass the well known hounted house (the red house) and it looked very creepy. we continued our cycling at pasir ris park and thats where i got into an accident. whats new huh.. i hurt my right knee this time and had abrasions on my palms. after dressing my wounds, we cycled to the playground and played there like we never played before. the merry-go-round thingy was FUN and FUNNY but it turned out tragic after jacq fell off that thing. it was pretty scary cz she fell off head first. luckily nothing bad happened. she got some abrasions on her face though.. it was almost 4am so we head back to the chalet. we washed up and rest for abit before we set off for light breakfast and walk around at pasir ris park to catch the sunrise.

nothing much happened on the last day. only the supposedly lost bike i encountered but other than that, we were all too exhausted to do anything.
overall, i find this chalet an eventful one and definitely one of the most memorable in the history of 2A02 (the soya bean ice-cream and CHARRLIIEEEE). although there was only a few of us, it was still fun because we already knew each other very well, and there wasnt any friction between any of us. if there happens to be any of these chalets, i will gladly join. even though this event wasnt any near perfect, i will rate it 10/10. :)

i was doing alot of thinking lately. mostly about us in JC, us in 1A02/2A02. we have gone this far (well not very far actually, just 2 years..) but it felt like we have gone through so many obstacles as a class. we endured the stress, the happiness, the backstabbing, the gossips, the rumours, the hypocrites, the cheaters, all together (okay that sounds cheesy). i will never forget the times we spend together during class lunches and how we always turn up late for maths lectures in J1 (which explains my poor results). i have to admit this feeling is actually kinda new to me. i never really felt this way after my secondary school days because i always knew that we will definitely meet again but this feels different.. well, people always say, 'aiya, we can always meet up and hang out etc etc..' but its different. just different. i know very well that i am not gonna miss the class. thats because i already have.
i know ive said this like a gazillion times but this is undisputedly the best years of my life.
okay this i one very long post and i have yet to eat lunch. adious!
