went for the class ECP outing!! woohhoo it was FUN!!!!! haha seems like there was some Arts (lit??) classes reunion cz we bumped into A4 and A5 girls! haha and zarifah thought that she saw someone from A1.. cool huh.. anyway, we rented bikes as always and it was damn shiok cz it was the first time ever in my whole entire 90 years of living that ECP was.... empty. :) damn nice....

me, gillian and zarifah's failed attempt at job-hunting. it was pretty bad cz,
1) i was super damn late.
2) zarifah was late too.
3) gil was early. well i feel so bad for making her wait that long...
4) the weather was atrocious.
5) we didnt get to finish our biased notes...
hahaha we ended up spending money instead which was ironic because our main purpose for meeting was to earn money. and as always, when there's the 3 of us, we will never fail to sit somewhere chatting our hearts out. its so nice reminiscing about our lives in JC. hahaha those were days when we had history quizes/essay tests every single week, parents being called up if we fail two consecutive tests, and that we will always study last minute for the history test during PE lessons since history tutorial starts after break which was right after PE..
gil: ergh is there anything FUN and CHEAP that we can do??
zarifah: JOGGING!! its FUN, and its FREE!!!
me and gil: -_-"
hahaha....
oh and my sis so randomly asked one basic J1 econs question about monopoly for some project and i have to refer to my econs notes to answer her question! hahaha i felt so stupid. or maybe i was cleverer back then.. -_-" also while browsing through my notes, i accidentally saw my econs A levels questions and when i looked through it...... oh gosh..... i was indeed cleverer back then. and don't get me started on err, lit P1...

went jogging with zarifah on that day. whoa i was damn late.. we planned to meet at 6pm but we ended up jogging at 8pm. ccrraazzyy i know. its abit too late and dark but oh well at least there was the spotlight. i dont know what the logic was but i felt totally at ease jogging that night (maybe because there was no sun??). hmm zarifah claimed that she could run better because there wasn't much wind (air resistant?? haha). it was a pretty good run that night, although we both can be compared to the Hare and the Tortoise; only that the Hare didn't stop halfway through the race run and thus totally outrun the Tortoise.....
sarah: wwaahhh.. lucky u! u get to go KL during the cny. my dad's is working during cny so there is pretty much nowhere i can go.
zarifah: then go out with ur mum lahh..
sarah: nah i only go out with her when my dad's around.
zarifah: what about ur sister? u can go out with them..
sarah: my sis is working. EH NO its cny! i totally forgot that she's not working.
-silence-
sarah: why would i even bother going out if the shops are all close during cny!! (sian face)
zarifah: ah i know!!! u can go JOGGING!!!!
sarah: u and ur jogging!!!! hahaha the stadium will be closed during cny anyway..
haha is it me, or is zarifah and jogging come in sync now? haha..

met up with some A2 peeps (well its just the 4 of us: me, gil, tp and kx) for lunch. hahahaha i totally cant recognise tp cz of his haircut. damn funny.. i dont understand why some guys dread their upcoming NS cz from what i hear from most of the guys i know, NS is one of the best days in a guys life. oh i envy them.. alot. met kiran and alphonso soon after. whoa i've never seen kiran for the past couple of month!! hahahaha and we are all categorised under the 2-3% of the unemployed in singapore. did alot of catching up. and after some stories from al, i can only say one thing; W.O.W, really. SR had totally changed this year. trust me when i said 'totally'. their discipline is way way tighter now, especially for punctuality (for latecoming, and lectures, mind you) and those were the days when we go late for maths (and lit?? nah just maths) lectures......
went to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday later on at Downtown East Costa Sands. did rally alot of catching up today i suppose. anyway, we witnessed a little bit of drama while sitting down chit chatting at the BBQ area. there was this man -i'm not sure but i think he was drunk- blatantly screaming his lungs out at 11pm, scolding his wife for god knows what. we all don't understand what he was screaming about because it wasn't in english and definitely not malay. he was arguing with his wife (err the wife just wants him to calm down actually) but it got scarier when he almost slapped her in front of the whole crowd, only to be stopped by some of their family members and his crying daughter (i assume). what a drama on a saturday night..
that was when my uncle told us a story about his late brother. we were told that his brother witnessed a grueling fight between two men in the past. he was just an innocent onlooker but suddenly one of the two men came up to him and bashed him, hitting him from the back, twice. he somehow managed to escape through a drain and ended up in a hospital. he died in the hospital (the impact of the hit clogs blood in his brain) which then affects his mother's mental condition. the man responsible was caught, but due to the loose disciplinary action last time, he was able to escape his punishment (it was so ridiculous cz he said that he hit the man by accident). but lucky enough, fate wasn't on his side, at all. his brother drowned in a river a week after and the man was finally caught and sentenced to death when he burned someone to death. (whoops!! suddenly reminds me of the burning monks incident in vietnam) well i'm not sure if this was on the news cz it happened around 30 years ago...
oh well. thats all i got for now. and i hope i get a job soon. man these O level KIDS need to stop depriving us of job vacancies....
